Hello Listener, thank you for checking out my website. I sat down for another conversation with a fellow Santa Barbara trailrunner, Sophia Ostovany. The topic of the conversation was Sophia’s thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in the summer of 2025.

Sophia had only just turned 22 years old at the time she started her hike. Fresh out of college graduation, she embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. The PCT is a 2,650 mile long trail connecting the Canadian and Mexican borders, traveling across the rugged & remote terrain of Washington state, the high mountain passes of the Sierra, and the vast hot deserts Southern California. And a whole lot more.
