There’s a little over a week left in the Santa Barbara Trail League – Fall 2026 season, and the times are heating up. Runners have taken down multi-year records on a couple competitive routes.

This is another solo episode, recorded from my studio apartment in Tubingen, Germany. Although, my nine month old son, Basil, can be heard throughout making some interesting baby-style comments.

I talked through the leaderboard changes on each route, and also mentioned the teams that have put up group efforts- there are quite a few. Two are greater than one.
